CITYSTATEZIP: Plover, WI 54467
EDUCATION: I began my career in the financial services industry in Columbus, Ohio in 1983 following my graduation
from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I am also a graduate, with Distinction,
from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Georgetown University. I am currently pursuing an MBA from the University
of Wisconsin at Oshkosh.
OCCUPATION: I am a Vice President for Associated Bank, NA. As a strategic planning manager, I am responsible for the
deployment of branches in the bank’s retail delivery network. Associated is a twenty three billion dollar commercial
bank located in the upper Midwest with over three hundred offices spanning a geographic foot print of three states.
Following twenty two years in the mortgage banking industry, most recently as Director of Retail Loan Servicing since
July 1999, I assumed my current role. I am a past member of the Board of Directors for Associated Mortgage, Inc.
I have served on three national advisory groups specific to the domestic residential mortgage industry. I am a past
member of the Fidelity National Financial Mortgage Advisory Board, where I chaired the Emerging Trends special interest
group. In addition, I served as a member of the Customer Advisory Group for the Federal National Mortgage Association
(Fannie Mae) and participated on MortgageServ’s Executive Summit panel.
INVOLVEMENT: Listener since 1980s. Long time financial supporter. One tme 9 XM Leadership Circle member.
WHYSERVE: I am an advocate of Public Radio because I rely on being informed of events that impact my perspective on
global, national and regional levels. I trust the unbiased in depth journalism to help me understand the complexities of
varied issues and keep me abreast of current events.
REPRESENTATION: A longtime banking industry executive, I am comfortable with public speaking engagements and
collaborating with public officials in the pursuit of activities that benefit the organizations I represent.
FUNDRAISING: I understand the financial support that is required to sustain Public Radio as an invaluable community
service. As a finance professional, I will contribute to the planning and execution of strategies to enhance the cash
flow of the organization. As a loyal listener, I will continue to provide personal financial support.
FEEDBACK: I am not aware of all the methods that WPR engages their listeners in providing feedback on programming
initiatives. Clearly, the level of financial support received during fundraisers is one indicator of listener feedback.
However, there must be popular listener programming choices that lack the required financial support. Those are the
programs that need representation to ensure that they endure.
RESPONSIBILITY: I have conducted all facets of my life in a manner that exhibits integrity that is beyond reproach.
I have fiduciary responsibilities as they relate to my profession, as well as entrusted duties as a community volunteer.
AFFILIATIONS: I am a past director for the Portage County United Way, where I served as past chair of the finance
committee and treasurer. I serve as a Capstone advisor to current Stonier students entering their third year of study
and Junior Achievement instructor at the high school level.
